Scorpion Guitars is dedicated to building high quality electric guitars. We use the highest quality components that we can source and we also select all our own wood, ensuring only the best quality. We also have two experienced players on staff to aid in research and development. We offer a “standard range”, a full custom build service and we also undertake repair and restoration work. Both luthiers are trained to a high standard in building classical and baroque strung instruments, and this feeds into the overall quality of our work. Something that is also very important to us is the environment. In selecting our wood we try to always use sustainable resources, for example through the extensive use of Brazilian mahogany in various fields, including luthiery, that particular species is about to be placed on the cites protected species list, we tend to use either plantation grown Honduras mahogany or Sapele mahogany from South Africa.
